(More customer reviews)Great product. I ordered 2 of them a Chrome and a White one. I wasn't expecting much for 3 bucks but they came in great condition and works as describe.
My girlfriend and I ride along a paved trail at times with alot of people. The ring...ring..sound is plesant to the ears is loud enough to get the attention of people. No more yelling "On you left".
All you need is a phillips screw driver and it took only but a couple of minutes to install on the handle bar. I installed mine on the right side and angled it away from me for easier access for my fingers.
I have only had used the product for 3 months but the only negative is that on rougher trails and on bumps the bell will give off a little ring. So I wouldn't put this thing on a real mountain bike. But what hardcore mountain biker would in the first place. LOL.
So don't hesitate buy it if you need one. It will save you from yelling for people to move and it looks cool. I will be ordering more for gifts for all my biking friends.

Pyramid Bicycle Squeeze Horn, Bugle, Chrome Plated Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this from a bike shop in town for $1 more than on Amazon because I wanted to actually hear all the horns/bells.
This horn is packaged so you can squeeze the bulb without removing the package so you can hear the horn and see the product without actually putting it on your bike. This horn is all metal and it is louder than all the others on the rack at the store (I tested them all) It feels quite solid.
It also looks old-fashioned with that bugle twist in it which is what I wanted on my "old fashioned" new cruiser type bike. I would give it a SOLID 5 as it is barring any durability issues.
My new bike is in the shop right now getting put together. I also ordered the Pyramid 3 horn here on Amazon which doesn't seem to have a defect and looks even more "different"
I decided to keep this horn for one bike and the 3 horned horn on another bike (both from the same company). The bulb has not come off as one reviewer wrote and I have used it many times.
If it ever falls off I will update this review. It works fine now and is quite solidly built.

(More customer reviews)Great horn, three tones really work, not just for show. Looks like it was designed by Dr. Suess, it is Loud!. For the price you can't beat it. My only complaint the piece that is used attach it to the bike is rather flimsy, I'd pay twice as much for the same horn with a solid attachment mechanism. Still, this horn deserves 5 stars for it's design and capability!..

The "old-fashioned bell of our youth" gives a timely and pleasant 'warning' that a bicyclist is nearing, giving them ample time to step aside - and it puts a smile on their faces as They remember "The Bell". A young man declared it "awesome". The word 'big' is misleading, as the bell is the size of those of Years ago. I tested other bell-types, but those were cumbersome to use, and didn't give an adequate warning sound. The price was reasonable and they arrived quickly.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this from Amazon because the local bike store was charging $25.00 for it. The bell is handsome and looks good on my Electra Townie. It is big, so take that into consideration if you already have a basket, cup holder and other things attached to your handlebars.
The bell does sound like a two toned door bell. It is loud, especially if you are trying it out inside the house. Clamp it on the bike and it is not so loud outside.
The bell is such a friendly sound, people usually smile when they hear it. Older folks (my age) hear it and say "Ding Dong, Avon Calling!" In the safety department, you could not do better than this bell. It is loud enough to be heard and different enough to make people check it out.
If you are buying this as an add on to your Electra bicycle, there are other bells with the Electra name more apparent. Still, a handsome addition to any bike.

Nirve Ding-Dong Bike Bell (Chrome, 60mm) Review

He thinks it should clear the path in a way more likely to produce smiles and commentary than fingers and nastiness. Good job, ding-dong bell! Seriously, it seems heavy and well-constructed. We're pleased.
