(More customer reviews)The Kryptonite Kryptoflex cable is meant to be used in conjunction with a U-lock. It should ONLY be used as a means to secure quick release components like your seat, seat post and/or wheels in conjunction with a U-lock. It should NOT be used to secure the bike's frame to a solid object like a bike rack.
If you try to use this cable as your primary means of securing your bike (frame) then don't be surprised if your bike gets stolen (like another reviewer experienced, sadly). USE COMMON SENSE, PEOPLE!
For what it was intended to do (secure quick release components, bike seat, wheels, etc.) it does a great job.
I would recommend it to anyone that wants another added layer of protection on top of a solid U-lock.
