(More customer reviews)This lighter looks good, but Zippo should stick to what they know. It's a piece of junk, plain and simple. The store where I bought it wouldn't take it back an hour after I bought it even though it just simply doesn't work. I contacted Zippo and they were somewhat rude via email, but finally sent me a post-paid envelope so that I could send the lighter in for repairs. This is a BRAND NEW lighter, but rather than just replace it given the problems I've had, they finally send me an email today (over a week after I sent the lighter in) that tells me it will take 3-4 weeks for the repair.
My buddy has a Colibri lighter that costs less than half what I spent for this horrible product, and it works flawlessly every time. This lighter works maybe one time out of ten tries.
Maybe when I get it back from repairs it will be better, but based upon my experience I'd tell you to buy a Colibri or some other brand. Zippo may be an American icon, but it looks to me like they don't have a clue when it comes to torch-style lighters.
