Excellent shades. I bought the gold with polarized brown version. They have a classic aviator look but with a more wrap-around style that contours nicely to the face. I have a slightly larger head and face and these fit perfectly without looking huge like many shades you find and are very comfortable. The lenses are top notch and clarity is awesome. The brown/amber lenses allow you to wear these in a variety of conditions as they're not too dark to wear around dusk or a bit cloudier day.
The only downside is the rubber ends of the arms will scratch the inside of the lens if the glasses are folded up and not treated carefully. I use some Croakies to avoid this so it hasn't been an issue but that's the only flaw I could find.
Overall these are great shades. Very stylish and inexpensive for high quality polarized lenses.

The sunglass industry's first Toric aviator model, the Smith Serpico will bring out the honest cop in all of us. The Serpico is outfitted with a lightweight wire frame made of optical-grade metal allow, and includes acetate temple tips to give the sunglass a classic appeal. The 9x3 Toric carbonic TLT lenses, meanwhile, are contoured so that light travels through without distortion--a major improvement over many other sunglass models. Carbonic lenses are also the most impact-resistant lenses on the market, with an anti-scratch coating that keeps them looking fresh through the years. Best of all, the Serpico fuses a mid-'70s aviator aesthetic with modern optical clarity, making this the ultimate in high-fashion eyewear. Available with both polarized and non-polarized lenses, the Serpico offers a medium fit with large coverage and carries Smith's legendary lifetime warranty.
About Smith OpticsBased in Sun Valley, Idaho, Smith Optics, Inc. was founded in 1965 with the creation of the first-ever goggle featuring a sealed thermal lens and breathable vent foam. In the early years, founder Dr. Bob Smith, an orthodontist by trade, made goggles by hand using dental tools, foam, and glue. Before he struck a deal for manufacturing of Smith goggles in the late 60s, Smith would often trade his creations for lift tickets. These early prototypes were usually manufactured by Smith and friends around the kitchen table.
Building on that goggle heritage and extending its expertise, Smith Sport Optics has gone on to set the standard for high-performance eyewear and goggles. Innovations over the years include the Fog-X anti-fog coating, PMT Perforated Membrane Technology lens ventilation system, patented Turbo C.A.M. Constant Air Management system, patented Regulator adjustable lens ventilation system, patented Roll Off's film advance system for motocross, patented ODS (Ocular Docking System) prescription insert, and patented Slider series sunglasses, the most innovative interchangeable lens sunglass available.
Today, Smith Optics has become synonymous with innovative, durable, top-quality products in the eyewear and goggle market. The company is also recognized for its unparalleled team roster, which boasts some of the top names in biking, motocross, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, and wakeboarding.
