(More customer reviews)So, I bought these wheels because I had some problems with Bones wheels that just did not seem to be balanced. On the board there were certain wheels that just did not seem to roll smoothly, and over time, the bearings got screwed up in those wheels. These were not cheap bearings either. The Ricta wheels don't seem to be any better. Actually, they seem to be worse, as there was only 1 Bones wheel that had this problem, but 2 of the Rictas seem to have it.
Holding the wheel, with bearings installed, by the inner bearing race (sort of a pinch grip) and spinning the wheel you can feel how out of balance they are. Some of the wheels run smoothly and others have a serious wobble.
I thought that the hard core of these wheels might help with this wobble, but the softer outside portion is noticeably out of round.
I am still looking for good wheels!
