(More customer reviews)Last I heard Perko products are still made in the U.S. This cupboard latch has been around for as long as I can remember in the same sturdy style. Very well made with a nice finish. It is not stainless but has a high quality chrome finish that will last unless exposed daily to salt water. If it is in a high use area like a commercial galley, the spring will eventually get weak. It just has a nice feel to it when opening or closing the doors. Hopefully, they will not be moving to Asia anytime soon.
