Only 2 stars for this watch. While i do not own this particular brand, i do own a Planet Ocean 2200.50.00 which has the DOUBLE ANTI GLARE ( anti glare on inside and outside of crystal ). The watch looks great, no complaints about that.
Take note before you buy any of these watches from Omega that have the Double anti glare. THEY SCRATCH EASILY !! Mine scratched after 2 months and Omega will not warranty it. In fact, if you go to their website, they don't even have a customer service number and it states this:
"Due to the considerable interest shown in the OMEGA brand, our staff is answering an unprecedented number of inquiries. Therefore, you should expect a response time of at least four weeks. We thank you for your patience and understanding." ONLY THROUGH EMAIL
I feel that after spending $4000 on a watch, that they should replace it or at least re-imburse the cost. They do not and will not, so you are stuck with a scratched watch.
Save your bucks and get a ROLEX or Tag. Customer service on these Omega's are NILL !

Invicta Men's 9329 Speedway Collection Chronograph S Watch Review

Invicta Men's 9329 Speedway Collection Chronograph S Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I own over a dozen timepieces that include Seiko, Bulova, Citizen, and Invicta. I own no less than 5 Invictas and they all have performed flawlessly. While I agree with the common thought that the manufactured suggested retail price of Invictas is someone inflated the prices found on Amazon for these watches are well below this and the timepieces are well worth the greatly reduced price. One thing for sure, Invicta watches look like they would cost well above the MSRP and therefore you you get one and wear it you will be well pleased. The Invicta Speedway Collection and specifically this watch, the 9329 compares in looks with the Rolex Daytona that goes for 8K to 11K.
One of the other reviewers stated he could not pull out the stem to set the watch. The stem and the pushers on these speedway additions are of a screw down type. In short, the stem and pushers are screwed down into the bezel for water proofing. To operate the stem and pushers you must first un-screw (turn counter clockwise) the stem or pusher away from the bezel and then you may pull the stem for setting the time or push the pushers to operate the other dials (called complications). This may sound complicated, but it is not.
This watch is made with solid stainless steel with a combination of brushed and highly polished parts. The contrast between the two looks great. On this watch the face is a very unusual and very handsome tone of blue. The best way for me to describe it is to say it is very close to the blue tone of police emergency lights. The looks of the watch design, bracelet, and the wonderful blue is what made this watch one of my favorites right out of the box. Please see the picture I posted on the product page under customer image.
The watch has a sweep second hand but it also has a small dial (complication) that is also a second hand and therefore this is redundant. The other two complication dials are minute and hour. Using the pushers you could use this watch as a stop watch but only to the second. The Rolex Daytona however does not have a redundant dial and you can use this watch as a true stop watch. But again, you will be paying thousands of dollars for that watch and less than $130 for the invicta. Basically, the extra complications on the invicta do function correctly but they are for looks. And again, looks this watch has!
The face is covered by a sapphire crystal that is very clear and stands up to wear being very scratch resistant. The product Invicta uses to illuminate the hands in the dark is very good but not the quality you find on watches like Seiko.
The only reason I do not give this watch 5 stars is the redundancy of the second complication and the hands do not illuminate as long as I would prefer. However, the scale here does not allow me to pick 4.5 stars which I would if I could.
I get compliments on this watch every time I put it on. I have been asked by more than one if it is a Rolex. I highly recommend this watch for oneself or as a gift. Again, the picture of it on the page including the image I posted falls short in giving this watch justice. At this writing amazon sells this watch with free shipping for less than ?130 and this watch at that price is a bargain! If you do elect the free shipping be prepared for it to take about two weeks to get to you. Amazon did not even ship my watch for about 4 days after I ordered it but for free shipping I could not complain.

This watch works great if you know how to use it. It has a lot of functions on it that takes a while to figure out how to use but if you read the instruction book its no problem. The heart rate strap is better on this product than most because it allows you to change the batteries in them when it dies. I know some of the polar heart rate monitors that I used in the past didn't have a place to change the battery and you had to just buy a new heart rate monitor for the watch when it died.

Tech 4 O 2010 Accelerator Men's Carbon Fitness Watch Review

Tech 4 O 2010 Accelerator Men's Carbon Fitness Watch
Average Reviews:

I'm a recreational runner. This 2010 Accelerator has some unique features. First, without using GPS, it will rather accurately measures your distance and speed -- and without the little thingie attached to your shoe! Doing a few 5K and 10K runs, it's accurate with 5-10/100ths of a mile. In fact, the watch has a walk setting and a run setting, and you can do both, and it will still record very close to the correct distance.
The screens are rather intuitive- just press the Esc/Light button to get to any screen, then cycle through the screens with the two buttons on the right. Finally, you select what you want with the Mode button. What you cannot figure out, just call the 800 number and an employee will quickly and cheerfully talk you through what you need.
If you just walk for fitness, or like to go out running in new terrain, and want to know your distance (and your speed + lots of other information), for the price, this watch cannot be beat.

Tech 4 O Accelerator Men's Running Watch Review

Tech 4 O Accelerator Men's Running Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently started a diet and was looking for a pedometer to use while on vacation to count my steps. I looked a number of pedometers that go on your belt when it occurred to me that I had seen pedometer watches. I did a little research and found only two brands, and one received consistently bad reviews. I purchased the Tech 4 O for about $40. It had generally good reviews about the pedometer part and so-so reviews about the construction (particularly the bezel). The watch came and I took it to Toronto for a long weekend. I must say that the pedometer in this watch is RIGHT ON! It does a very good job of counting steps but you must remember to put it in pedometer mode before you start walking. On the "down" side, I bumped (lightly) a wall with the watch and the bezel popped off. I had read about that before, but assumed that the user had hit the watch against something pretty hard. WRONG! It takes very little to dislodge the bezel from the front of the watch. Rather than return the watch, I used a little "crazy glue" to re-secure the bezel and it has been fine ever since. The manufacturer really needs to find a new way to secure the bezel. All and all, I've been VERY pleased with the watch. It is a little hard to program, because it only has 4 buttons and they perform a large number of functions, but once you learn the scheme, the watch performs very well. I recommend this watch for anyone who doesn't want to bother with two devices and likes the idea of always having a pedometer handy! (BTW, beware of the Timex watch that says "Timex Watch With Pedometer". This is EXACTLY what it says, a Timex watch WITH a SEPARATE, belt-mounted pedometer! Read the ad carefully!

Whether you're a hardcore adventure hiker, an avid runner, or simply looking to count your doctor's recommended 10k steps a day, an Accelerator Series watch fits the bill. Advanced accelerometer technology provides highly accurate readings of a user's speed, distance, and caloric expenditure via a simple wrist watch sensor, eliminating the need for funny looking foot pods or belt clips. Accelerometer technology is 95+% accurate, and much more dependable than traditional pendulum based pedometers. GPS-based running products are very expensive, complicated, and aren't reliable for indoor training or under heavy tree cover. The Accelerator Series is the perfect combination of accurate readings, simplicity of use, and stylish design.
Speed & Distance Pedometer
Highly accurate step counter with adjustable sensitivity allows users to tune the sensors to their individual walking style. Doctors everywhere are now recommending 10k steps a day to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
All sensors are contained in a simple wrist watch. That means no funny looking mechanical belt clips our funky shoe pods.
Get off the beaten path! Free yourself from mileage markers at the track or trail! Pick a new route every day! The Accelerator can automatically distinguish between running and walking, and can calculate your average speed, distance, caloric expenditure, and total exercise time.
The Accelerator has a delayed step counter feature that differentiates between ancillary movements and actual steps. This feature provides users with the most accurate results by delaying calculation until it has registered 10 steps in a row to eliminate false step counting.
The smart scheduling features allows users to set the pedometer to automatically start/stop counting steps at a predetermined time every day, so you'll never forget to turn it on.

Personal Profile
This feature allows users to customize their watch to their specific body type and walking/running style. No matter how fast or slow, tall or short, each user can personally enter their weight, average walking stride, and average running stride in order to ensure accurate results.
Hikers can easily account for loaded pack weights.
Runners can dial in the stride length to account for varying terrain and/or speed workouts.
Quickly adjust weight and stride lengths as conditioning improves.

Chronograph
The accelerator series’ powerful stopwatch features allow users to record exact results to within 1/100th of a second for up to 50 laps and a total time of 24 hours.
Although the watch has several advanced ways of calculating speed and distance, the old-school chronograph still has a place and purpose.

Countdown Timer
A simple countdown timer can come in real handy at times. Set it for 10 minutes as a quick reminder. Use it to monitor your running/walking pace and set speed goals. Alternative Time Zone
Great for those that travel! Allows users to set and display an alternative time zone along with the current home time display. Never lose track of time no matter where you are.

Daily Alarm Mode
We are all creatures of habit in our daily routines. The daily alarm is a great way to set a daily reminder or morning wake up alarm.

How the Technology Works The underlying technology in the Accelerator Series Watches is an accelerometer sensor. Accelerometers are used to measure acceleration. Originally developed during the Space Race to replace outdated gyroscopes, accelerometers can be found in a diverse range of today’s products such as automobile air bags and tilt meters. In the Accelerator watch, a user's movement (acceleration) produces varying degrees of electric current within the sensor, allowing the watch to detect different levels of acceleration, and therefore measure speed and distance.
Another way to explain how an accelerometer sensor works is to envision a marble in a bowl. When the bowl is moved, or accelerated, the marble inside will roll (accelerate) along the bottom and sides of the bowl. When the bowl is accelerated faster, the marble will move a greater distance up the sides. The accelerometer sensor in the Accelerator Series watch acts like an electronic marble in a bowl. With every step forward, the wearer of the watch (bowl) is accelerating forward. By measuring the acceleration of the "marble", the software inside the watch can then calculate the wearer’s speed and distance.
The Competition There are really only a few different ways to calculate the speed and distance of human-powered, on-foot travel. The first was basic math, next came the mechanical pedometer, followed by satellite tracking GPS years later. Mechanical pedometers are cheap and abundant, but also highly unreliable. They operate on a simply pendulum clicker that relies on the walker’s hip movement to count steps. Unfortunately, mechanical pedometers end up counting a lot of non-walking movements and assume that walkers are making consistent and repetitive steps.
GPS technology is impressive, but also expensive, complex, and not always ideal for outdoor activities or indoor training. Satellite signals can be lost in heavily forested areas, indoors, or behind large buildings and receiving signals eats up batteries. When a good signal can be found, often the device does not receive info often enough to account for twisty backcountry trails.
The Future The Tech 4 O Accelerator Series fills the void between old mechanical pedometers and the overkill of GPS. A simple, yet versatile, wrist-watch design can provide extremely accurate speed and distance data in all conditions.

Seiko Men's SNP017 Coutura Kinetic Perpetual Watch Review

Seiko Men's SNP017 Coutura Kinetic Perpetual Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'm a man who does his research before purchasing, and I also like to think that I have good style. This watch was compared to watches ranging from $100 to $3000, and none had the styling that this one possessed. Talk about an every-day any-occasion watch! This will look just as stylish with a suit as it will with casual clothes. The price IS quite expensive for ANY watch, but here's my pro's and con's:
Pro's:
1) Beauty
2) Saphire crystal lens which can not be scratched unless done so by saphires, diamonds, or perhaps other gems(?).
3) Kinetic drive = never worry about a battery again.
4) Holds date and time if it goes into power-saving mode (up to 4 years if it were fully charged prior to power-saving mode) - just shake it and it will readjust itself automatically! Power-saving mode is only activated if the watch has not moved for 24 hours.
5) Perpetual calendar - Never have to adjust the date to account for leap years or 28-31 days in a month.
6) It's a Seiko!
Con's:
1) No timer, alarm, chronograph.
2) Cost (subjective)
The lack of anything but time and calendar was a huge disappointment to me as I often use a timer or alarm on my watches. However, I have a cell-phone that can easily double for such tasks, or I can use other items to fill this void. The watch was a graduation present from my parents (yes, I helped them pick it out for me ;) ), and I know I will cherish it every time I look at it - for many many years!

Tissot Men's T17.1.486.55 PRS200 Chronograph Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Tissot PRS200 is one of the best selling watches from the legendry watchmaker. The build quality and appeal of the product speaks for itself. This watch has got everything what an ideal quality watch should have. It has:
1. Sapphire glass
2. 200M/660FT water resistant
3. Chronograph
4. Rotating bezel dial.
The quality of the chain is A Grade and when gets dirty can be washed with warm water and soft detergent. The shine remains same for years. I have tried Tag Heur, Fossil, and DKNY but honestly I find this best. Nobody in the Swiss industry can beat the value for product, which only Tissot can give.
This is a great buy as you can always compare the features with a lot expensive watches. Moreover, Tissot is any day better than brands like Swatch, Esprit, and Fossil. The company which has been in watch making business since 1853 cannot be wrong or just average, it has to be cut above the rest and that what exactly Tissot is, and it is proved by the quality of PRS200.

1999 - one of my other watches had a broken glass - so, I was looking for some watch, which I can use for 1 or 2 months before I can buy a fancy one. I was driving on I35 in Austin, drove into a walmart, saw a couple of watches and made a quick decision to buy this casio which then costed me about $14.
7 years have went by, I never bought another watch - I have received a few watches as gift during product promotions etc. But this is the best. It is on my wrist atleast 15 hours a day - office, sports (not swimming), special occasions ...
It is a fully functional, no-nonsense watch - Illuminator, alarm, large format display of time, day and date on the same screen.
My friends cautioned me against using the illuminator and the alarm - saying that it might reduce battery life. But, I have abused this watch more than anybody else could do, set daily alarms, use the illuminator maybe 4-5 times a month ... - I had to replace the watch strap once due to my misuse.
I have no plans of replacing this watch until the battery lasts. After the battery dies, planning to buy a new one - ofcourse it will be a casio (or maybe a citizen ecodrive).

I love this watch! It is very nice and user friendly. I was able to set it up in no time and use it to accurately track my running pathways. It was an added bonus that you can set it up in regular time or military time. This is extremely handy for me since I am a night shift nurse so it doubles as a great watch for work. Would buy this over again if I had the choice!!!

This is a nice sports watch for a person who is on the go. I brought this watch for a girlfriend not to long ago and she loved it! It's attractive to the eye. Light on the wrist. It's not a watch you would work out in, but it does accesorizes well with sports gear. I recommend this as a nice leisure watch.

A great choice for partnering with light workouts, this small Nike Presto Duo analog women's watch in light pink is also a great match to your sporty casual couture. It features a thin, bulbous watch polished nylon case that frames a mirror dial background with just two tiny baton-style hands. The unique, claspless, hand-polished nylon band flexes and forms quickly around your wrist, and it provides additional security from slippage with large, comfortable bulbous ends at the base of the wrist. It also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet).
About Nike Nike watches are built to endure extreme outdoor conditions without missing a beat and they adhere to the company's founding mission statement: to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. And as Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman would add--if you have a body, you're an athlete. Ever since the fateful day in 1971 when University of Oregon track coach Bowerman poured rubber into his wife's waffle iron, technological innovation has been the spark that lights Nike's fire. The Waffle outsole transformed the running world and soon after Nike Air evolved Nike's revolutionary impact on sports. Beyond shoes--from watches and eyewear to carry gear and even socks--Nike is committed to giving athletes of every make, model and body style, who compete and recreate in ways never before imagined, the very best performance product. Here are just a few important dates in Nike's journey:
American record-holder Steve Prefontaine becomes the first major track athlete to wear Nike brand shoes in 1973.
At the 1976 Olympic Trials, Nike shoes are seen in abundance for the first time--worn by young, rising stars in both middle- and long-distance events.
The first athlete to win an Olympic medal wearing Nike shoes is British runner, Steve Ovett in the 1980 Moscow Games
The Just Do It advertising campaign began in 1988, and is now ensconced in the Americana exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum.
