(More customer reviews)I was looking for some fancy chrome fenders for my old Hiawatha balloon tire cruiser. The old ones were pitted and rusty. I thought I would try out stainless for a care free application. These fenders are just as the photo show's sans the fender braces that are included. I just wished they didn't package them strapped to the top of the fender scratching the fender. These fenders had a little rust at the rolled seams underneath (no biggie) Yes, stainless will rust! they are also very susceptible to scratching unlike chrome. For my application they fit pretty well on my 60 year old bike. The 26"x 2.125 white wall tires fit perfect. The only modification "for my bike" was that I had to remove the upright fork mounting tab by drilling out the two small rivets that secure it and I had to bend the sides of the front fender to fit between the fork. Its a little tricky to do though. Overall, a great look but they scratch very easily.
